Badal Mahal, also known as the Palace of Clouds, is a striking palace situated at the highest point of Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan. Built during the reign of Maharana Fateh Singh, the palace is admired for its colourful wall paintings, distinctive architecture, and scenic views of the surrounding Aravalli Hills. Its elevated position and historic charm make it one of the most memorable attractions within the fort complex.

A rare, octagonal Jain temple built by Rana Kumbha in 1457. Elevated on a pillared platform, it is renowned as the only sacrificial temple surviving in India, later renovated by Maharana Fateh Singh.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this grand 15th-century shrine features a massive six-foot lingam carved from a single black stone. The temple is distinguished by its intricately carved pillars and open-courtyard layout.

The Light and Sound Show at Kumbhalgarh Fort brings the history of Mewar to life through dramatic illumination, music, and narration. Set against the fort's impressive stone walls, the performance recounts the legacy of Maharana Kumbha, Maharana Pratap, and the region's rich Rajput heritage. The evening spectacle offers visitors a memorable way to experience the fort's grandeur after dark.

A massive Mewar fortress built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. Sitting at an elevation of 1,100 meters, it features heavily fortified bastions and encompasses over 360 ancient temples within its protective perimeter.

Located just below the main fort, this ruined temple once housed four huge stone slabs inscribed with the history of Mewar. It also contains the cenotaph of Rana Kumbha, assassinated here by his son.

A rugged 600-square-kilometer reserve surrounding the fort. The dense forest is a crucial habitat for Indian wolves, sloth bears, leopards, and four-horned antelopes, explored primarily via horseback or jeep safaris.
